emergencies call 911 Borough Beach Patrol and Boat Ramp Information Page Beach Regulations Please do not sit or lay in the beach vehicles access ramps, due to the danger of being run over by vehicles entering or leaving the beach area. No unauthorized vehicles allowed on the beaches between the third Saturday in May and the third Saturday in September. During the off season, a beach buggy permit is required to drive on the beach. For information concerning beach buggy permits, please look under permit information. No dogs are allowed on the beaches between May 1st and October 1st. During the off season, dogs are allowed on the beach, but must be on a leash at all times. It is the law that you must clean up after your dog. Alcohol is not allowed on the beach at any time. No disrobing on the beach. No peddlers or hawkers allowed on the beach. No sleeping on the beach between midnight and 7:00 a.m. If wearing bathing attire, you must have a beach badge. Please keep off the sand dunes - There is a $500.00 fine for being on the dunes. No littering – There is a $500.00 fine for littering.
